Jared Schwennesen, P.E.

Multi-Modal Division Manager
Oklahoma Department of Transportation (ODOT)

Jared Schwennesen began his tenure with ODOT in 2009 as an Engineer-in-Training. Since then, he’s held roles in Bridge Division; Traffic Division; Maintenance in ITS and Fiber Optics and Environmental Programs Division, Assistant to the Director of Capital Programs, and Division Manager of the Rails Programs. His current position is the Multi-Modal Division Manager.

In 2007, Schwennesen earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Oklahoma. In 2008, He went on to earn his Masters of Science degree in Civil Engineering from OU and joined ODOT soon after. Additionally, he gained his professional engineering license in 2012. Having worked as a manager and designer in a diverse group of ODOT divisions, Schwennesen is prepared to lead the Multi-Modal Division as it seeks to improve Oklahoma’s passenger and freight rail systems.

In Schwennesen’s time at the department, he has contributed to special initiatives such as the update of ODOT’s Strategic Plan, the rollout of OKroads.org, installation of electric vehicle charging stations, grant applications and bundling projects. He has also served as the Oklahoma Director of the Board for ITS Heartland.

Meeting Logistics

We’ll be meeting only IN PERSON.

Check-In

Check in using a technology we’ve all become familiar with – a QR Code (see photo to the right). Upon payment and registration completion you will receive a “ticket” in your email that includes a QR Code (similar to the one shown right). Please have that email (or QR Code) pulled up on your mobile device as you prepare to check in to speed up the process. Your code will be scanned at the registration desk and you’ll be checked in. Once checked in, you can pick up your name tag and drink tickets. Note: that the QR Code is specific to your registration for this meeting and will not work otherwise. Also, if you purchased Drink Tickets you will also get QR Codes for them, too. You need not bring those QR Codes, just the one for your meeting registration.

Payment

Once your payment is received and processed, you will be emailed your receipt and ticket. Your ticket will have the QR Code on it.

Notes:

  1. Table sales end 4 days before the event.
  2. Regular ticket pricing ends 4 days before the event.
  3. LATE REGISTRATION starts 4 days before and ends 2 days before the event.
  4. Log in for Member Pricing (currently active members).
  5. Make sure that the billing address you enter matches the billing address (ZIP Code and all) for your credit card, otherwise the transaction will fail.
