Another Great Speaker
Terry Chapman, P.E., is a 1975 graduate of Rose Hulman with a BSEE. He is a seasoned electrical engineer and project manager with over 48 years’ experience in seven major industries. Those industries include industrial chemicals, real estate, pulp & paper, pharmaceutical, food, transportation, and oil & gas.
Since early 2010, he has been focused on the E&P land-based sector of oil and gas applying sound electrical principles to the energy boom created through horizontal drilling and hydraulic fracturing.
For three and a half years he was the engineering advisor for power for Chesapeake Energy. Mr. Chapman is now operating as an independent electrical consultant to multiple clients in the industry.
He is an expert at taking complex electrical concepts and training non-electrical personnel in the technical and economic fundamentals that affect their industry. He helps clients make intelligent electrical decisions acting as their “in-house” engineering consultant. He has overseen all phases of the electrical project process including the project definition, conceptual design, detailed design, bidding, installation, and startup. He has handled electrical facility design projects including but not limited to central tank batteries, ESPs, gas lift, SWDs, gas compression stations, and utility power.
Terry lives in Edmond, Oklahoma with Cindy, his wife of 46 years. They have three grown sons, three daughters-in-law, five grandchildren, and is active in Crossings Community Church.

Meeting Logistics
We’ll be meeting only IN PERSON.
Check-In
| Check in using a technology we’ve all become familiar with – a QR Code (see photo to the right). Upon payment and registration completion you will receive a “ticket” in your email that includes a QR Code (similar to the one shown right). Please have that email (or QR Code) pulled up on your mobile device as you prepare to check in to speed up the process. Your code will be scanned at the registration desk and you’ll be checked in. Once checked in, you can pick up your name tag and drink tickets. Note: that the QR Code is specific to your registration for this meeting and will not work otherwise. Also, if you purchased Drink Tickets you will also get QR Codes for them, too. You need not bring those QR Codes, just the one for your meeting registration. | ![]() |
