DESCRIPTION:The Electric Power Infrastructure Club of Oklahoma\nis proud to host you at its May 14\, 2024 Meeting \n[If your company is interested in sponsoring this event\, register for the Meeting Host Sponsorship]\nFeaturing\nour guest speaker \n \nBruce Rew\nSenior Vice President\, Operations\nSouthwest Power Pool\n\n\nBruce Rew serves as senior vice president of operations and is responsible for the Southwest Power Pool’s (SPP) real-time operations\, operational planning and analysis support of all reliability coordination\, market operations\, tariff administration and scheduling functions. He has also served as vice president of engineering and in several management and engineering positions since joining the SPP in 1990. \nRew’s notable projects include assisting the SPP’s Regional State Committee in developing a process for allocating transmission costs region-wide\, developing tariff language allowing customers to fund transmission projects and implementing the SPP’s first energy management and tariff billing system. \nPrior to joining the SPP\, Rew served in the United States Air Force as a member of a nuclear missile launch crew. He is a registered professional engineer. \n\n\n\nPlease make sure you see the notes at the bottom of the page – they are important! \nMeeting Logistics\nCheck-In\n\n\n\nCheck in using a technology we’ve all become familiar with – a QR Code (see photo to the right). Please have that email (or QR Code) pulled up on your mobile device as you prepare to check in to speed up the process. Your code will be scanned at the registration desk and you’ll be checked in. Once checked in\, you can pick up your name tag and drink tickets. Note: that the QR Code is specific to your registration for this meeting and will not work otherwise. Also\, if you purchased Drink Tickets you will also get QR Codes for them\, too.
